NEXT LAZARUS PRODUCTION;

Welcome to Lazarus Theatre Company, a company truly committed to producing the best in Classic Theatre for a Contemporary London Fringe audience.

Inspired by a broad and diverse range of material we hope that our work informs, inspires and provokes our audiences, offering a fresh and bold re-imagination of some of the greatest works ever written. Through the use of text, song, music and movement we hope to offer an exciting theatrical experience; our work involves ensemble storytelling with intimacy and detail at its heart.

Season 2010 will include Elizabethan, Jacobean and Greek Drama, our work with movement and music will be expanded as will our reach to our audience with longer engagements and more productions. The creative team looks set to expand with an associate company being established over the course of the Season.

In this our forth year we look to keep building our links with theatres, practitioners and artists as well as the most important aspect of our work, our audience.

SEASON 2010 A Season not to be missed.

Just a quick Happy New Year from all at Lazarus,
Season 2009 has been an incredible collection of work; our productions of Webster’s “The Duchess of Malfi”, Wilde’s “Salomé” and Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” have all received glowing reviews and in turn played sell out seasons. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in making this season Lazarus’ most successful one yet.
We even featured in this year’s round up in “The Stage”.
In this our third year we have been building strong links with theatres, practitioners and artists as well as the most important aspect of our work, our audience.
We are currently programming Lazarus season 2010, more details will be announced in the New Year, but we can let you know it will feature Elizabethan, Jacobean and Greek drama.
We look forward to seeing you in the New Year and inviting you to
LAZARUS SEASON 2010.

Ricky and All at Lazarus.
