What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)
Writer
My Quick CV
A winner in the North West England One Act Playwriting Competition, 2008. First prize winner, The Grand Theatre Blackpool, one-act play competition, 2009. I've worked with the Oldham Coliseum WritingLab and Cento Productions Leeds, where I had 2 works performed at the Carriageworks in March.

I'd be interested in getting involved with theatre groups / actors who are looking for new short / one act plays for fringe festivals in 2010.
The first thing that inspired me in theatre...
David Mamet (still does).
My favourite theatre something is...
It makes writing less solitary. Working with others on a script inspires new ideas.

Manchester short play

If any actors would like to register an interest in / find out more about acting in a short (c. 15 mins) play linked to an art opening in Manchester in September, let me know. There's a distinct lack of cash I'm afraid but cake is a definite possibility.

Pondering

I'm working on longer material at the moment, since previously I've been concentrating on shorter stuff. If anyone would like to know more and talk about all sorts of writing on new plays, drop me a line.
