What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)

I'm a writer, director and teacher.

My Quick CV

Began my professional career as an actor/director/writer acting in the premiere of Olwen's Wymark's 'Find Me' at the Edinburgh Festival in 1976 and working as Assistant Director on Slawomir Mrozcek's 'The Police' at the Roundhouse in London in the same year. Moved into teaching after a year to pay bills and have been in education ever since. After a stint in the Brycbox Arts in Education team became Head of Drama in a Girls' comp, worked as a writer for the RNT Education Dept and since ten years ago have been Head of Drama at the City of London Freemen's School. Have been the teacher of a number of well known actors including Kelly Reilly and Andrew Garfield. As a writer have had my own plays performed on the Fringe in London, Paris and Edinburgh gaining awards and critical aclaim.
