Edinburgh Fringe

I have just returned from The Edinburgh Festival where I took in 18 shows in 4 days. Saw some great stuff and some absolute rubbish, but one show stands out by a mile.

ABFCAP - The Life and Rhymes of Ian Dury, is BRILLIANT.

Its like being in the room with Ian and "Spider". It gives you insight into both men, and tells a facsinating story with both humour and brutal reality.

Edinburgh Fringe

I go to the festival every year for the preview weekend


Like to support friends by attending their shows (I buy tix and normally bring others, no comps required!)


It's pot luck time


This year I am up from August 1st to 5th


Sadly have to work for the first two days (I am in tourism and we take hundreds of clients to Edinburgh in August so I go to make sure all the hotels and tickets are in order)


I am free in the evenings and all day and night Fri, Sat and Su
