I have just returned from The Edinburgh Festival where I took in 18 shows in 4 days. Saw some great stuff and some absolute rubbish, but one show stands out by a mile.

ABFCAP - The Life and Rhymes of Ian Dury, is BRILLIANT.

Its like being in the room with Ian and "Spider". It gives you insight into both men, and tells a facsinating story with both humour and brutal reality.

The Tiny Tom Thumb Theatre in Cliftonville, Kent is for sale

Stage is ten feet by twelve, auditorium has fifty seats

Complete with dressing rooms, two parking spaces, one bedroom flat and planning permission to extend

Needs refurbishment but one block from coast and in property hot spot

Absolutely charming

Dont let it fall into the hands of local developers

I go to the festival every year for the preview weekend

Like to support friends by attending their shows (I buy tix and normally bring others, no comps required!)

It's pot luck time

This year I am up from August 1st to 5th

Sadly have to work for the first two days (I am in tourism and we take hundreds of clients to Edinburgh in August so I go to make sure all the hotels and tickets are in order)
