My Quick CV
I have an MFA from SFU, a Canadian University with a reputation for interdisciplinary study. I have been in the "field" and continuously training with companies and organizations in Canada, Australia, the US and Europe. Most recently I have worked with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre in Brisbane, AU; trained with SITI in New York and studied for a summer with the Sanford Meisner Center/Studio based in LA. I am a core member of the newly formed VICE Theatre International Company. We are doing our first project in the summer of 2009, "Conditional (dis)Placement" in Prague.
The first thing that inspired me in theatre...
I first got interested in theatre because it was where I thought I could hide and be safe. I found out there is no place more dangerous and exposing... and it inspired me even more.
