What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)
Composer, arranger, orchestrator, musician, record producer.
My Quick CV
Record Producer and Director of ARC (Algarve Record Company).
Trained as a classical musician studying piano as principal instrument, with four years studying arrangement and orchestration.
Followed by many years as a session musician playing on over 70 top ten singles. Now working with a great lyricist Derek Charles Ash and together we have written our latest project 'CHURCHILL - The Musical'.
The first thing that inspired me in theatre...
Watching productions of Gilbert and Sullivan as a child, and Rogers and Hammerstein as I got older. Then on to Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber etc. Musical theatre is where my heart is !
My favourite theatre something is...
The tingle you get when lyrics and music really work together.
The thing that annoys me about our industry...
