Hi Just a few comments about your reply. (Thanks by the way - nice to hear from you.) 1. About the tower blocks - I do agree that they look ugly but then a home is better than no home. 2. World Cla... Continue

Theatres lose out to the ruddy Olympics!

Hi that all sound very positive but it is not my reality. I don't want the Olympics to come here. Why 1. Regeneration. Sound great in Theory but what does it really mean. It means that artists who... Continue

Hi, I was looking around and saw that you worked with contact improv, improvising a piece. What did you find out with this? (Poorly worded, so other questions to help you out to understand me.) What did you like/enjoy? Would you improvise music again? Are you going to do more? Oh the amount of questions I am loading onto you, I apologise. Thanks.

Hey James. How are you? Just thought I'd come on here to say hi. Off to bath tomorrow - we did shows in hoxton hall for last two days. Feels good to actually do two days work in a row at last. Dunno if you heard about Mark getting ill and us having to cancel another show! Nightmare! Anyhow, hopefully thats the end of the shows bad luck. Hope all is well at your end. Big hugs to you, Krissi

Dear Sarah
It took me a long time to figure it out. (Getting sound trax on to myspace or britishtheatre. It sounds complicated but once you have done it once it is easy.
1. Register with Fileden
http://www.fileden.com/
or anyother freefilehosting service.
2. Upload your mp3 file on to this site.
3. When it is uploaded it will give you a URL link
- it starts with http and ends with mp3
4.copy it
5. Go to
http://www.plebius.org/flashmp3player
and you will see a virtual mp3 player
6. Paste the url link in one of the boxes.
7. When you have finished press on the bottom of the page - button "get code"
8. It will take you to another page with a html code which you must copy.
Where ever you post this html a player will apppear with your track on it.
If you look at www.myspace.com/jameshesford
or britishtheatre/profile/jameshesford
you will see the player there with the trax on.
As I said - it sounds really complicated and it confused me at first but once I had done it it was ok. All this stuff is about html codes and url links. html is a numeric/alphabetic representation of a virtual object eg an mp3 player and a URL link is a channel to draw eg sound/vision/ etc into it.
Hope thats ok.
Kind regards
James
