Profile Information
- What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)
- Lina B. Frank works as a freelance theatre and performance designer, mainly in England, Sweden and Denmark. She has worked with numerous companies and artists throughout Europe, mostly within new circus, but also theatre, puppetry and dance.
In 2005 she co-founded the Ballet and Contemporary Dance Society at the University of the Arts London. She also curates and creates installation performances, performance art, and runs workshops in pattern-cutting, creative costume-making and devised performance, as well as making costume for seasonal runs, touring shows, promenade performance and events. She is a specialist in costume-making for new circus. This year she’s working at Circus Maniacs School of Circus Arts, Curating the Ausform Platform of Performance, developing now live performances and doing freelance costume work.
