Extra at my local opera house age 12. First actor contract for the theatre age 15. First TV age 17 with Kristen Scott Thomas daaarling. Downhill thereafter...

The first thing that inspired me in theatre...

A theatre company touring schools. I saw them when I was about 11. Also leaving in Avignon, with its summer festival, helped.

Egos, snobbism, boring plays, lazy directors, lazy teachers, people who seem to HATE theatre and still work in it (why o why?) etc...
