My Quick CV
Nadia gained a BA (Hons) in Italian at University College, London, before training at The Academy Drama School. Stage roles have included Julia Simmons in Agatha Christie’s A Murder is Announced (Nottingham Theatre Royal), Gail in Teechers (King’s Head), Amanda in The Apple Cart (Shaw’s Corner), Susie in prize winning comedy Either Way (Hackney Empire), Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Highley Manor), Helena in Look Back in Anger (Italian tour), Fiamma in The Rupert Drop at The Hampstead Theatre and Cynthia in The Maiden’s Prayer at The Lion and Unicorn.

Nadia set-up Tricolore Theatre Company last October, a new theatre company dedicated to the promotion of International culture, literature and language and is currently preparing for her 2nd project: an English/Italian bilingual re-adaptation of the classic tale of The Gingerbread Man. She will also be shooting her first feature, Fight Back, this summer.

The first thing that inspired me in theatre...
Being totally absorbed by a play & by actors who expressed conviction, passion, commitment and energy to what they were doing on stage.
My favourite theatre something is...
The stories! Plus, the sheer magic & excitement of the stage ;-)
The thing that annoys me about our industry...
Too many actors, too few jobs!

Dear Everybody,

My dear friends Mary & Chris have taken their "2-people" show to The Brighton Fringe. The xiting & novel thing is they come to YOU!

Would anybody have any friends in the Brighton area who would like to see some Shakespeare performed in the comfort of their own lounge? You could get a group together, have a whip round,

Yes, we have met at AWL a couple of times. But don't worry, I'm not that memorable. I have to remind my mother and my brother who I am sometimes ;) lol

Nadsy baby, when are you going to invite people to join the Academy Drama School Appreciation Society? Huh? Huh?? Huh??? Or are you proud to be its only member?! I joined the Academy Drama School group on facebook and would be honoured to be associated with this one, should you decide to open it up for membership... Long live the Academy and all who sailed in her... lots of love, Liz xox

Awww how nice to see Penny's comment... so enjoyed being in her piece and really treasure 'Screech', who remains attached to my jacket. When I went to hospital via ambulance recently, one of the paramedics brought 'that' jacket to keep me warm!!! It really cheered me up!

Hi Nadia, Thanks for the kind comments about the piece last Monday - one of those rare occasions where what was in my head came out exactly on the stage - thanks mainly to the wonderful actors. Liz has adopted the "creature", and called it Screech.
Hope the Rome thing gets off the ground. If it does, and they want a script, I'm still up for it.
Have a great summer and see you in September.
