What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?): Actor, aged 65

My Quick CV: 25 years or more in unpaid English theatre in Luxembourg, also working on voice-over and minor featured movie parts ; retrained with The Actors Company 2005/6. Last year played The Husband in La Ronde at Jermyn Street Theatre and toured in Mrs Warren's Profession with Michael Friend Productions as Mr. Praed. Three parts to date in short student/independent movies. Agents Pemberton Associates, who are looking to get me into the business ; me, I'm looking for work ...

The first thing that inspired me in theatre...: Seeing Albert Finney's Coriolanus at Stratford in (1958?) when he took over from Olivier as understudy that day. Going back the next year and seeing Paul Robeson's Othello.

My favourite theatre something is...: Highly-charged drama in a confined space when the magic hits.

The thing that annoys me about our industry...: The jobs for the (old) boys aspect - obviously - but no hard feelings ...
