Profile Information

What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?): Hello. I've been an actor for 40 + years (and still hanging in there!) I enjoy writing, directing and tennis. I also run the British English-Speaking Theatre of Slovenia (BEST) and divide my time between the UK (90%) and Slovenia (10%).

The first thing that inspired me in theatre...: My late Mother's encouragement of what ever talent I possessed,..and, as a 7 year old, watching Peter Pan from the box of the Liverpool Empire.

My favourite theatre something is...: Creating employment (for myself and others),..and seeing a piece of my writing get a reaction when brought to life by actors.

The thing that annoys me about our industry...: reality tv!...and much else besides, but you don't have all day,...

I hope you caught your train okay on Monday and the journey back wasn't too arduous. It was good to have a chat. As you'll be back in Slovenia when Anna's Les Mis is on, if you were free and you were interested, you'd be very welcome to come to one of the rehearsals (usually Weds, Fri, or Sunday pm).
